Our Juno Beach team’s goal is to help patients maneuver financial barriers so that they can receive the quality dental treatment they need and deserve. Most adults do have some kind of current dental insurance, which is good news – our practice is friendly to most insurance plans, and we will be happy to help however we can in maximizing the benefits that are available to you. When you arrive for your first appointment, our front desk members will ask for your insurance information, and they will also check in with you at follow-up appointments to confirm that this information is still up-to-date. We will file claims in an electronic fashion, cover the cost of necessary postage, and track their development for the benefit of our patients.
When determining your financial commitment, we will do everything in our power to accurately estimate what your benefits will cover and what the out-of-pocket cost will be; after all, we want you to be able to plan your budget accordingly moving forward. However, it’s important to remember that many insurance companies don’t provide 100% accurate quotes until the claim has already been processed by their team. Because of this, patients should remember that our numbers are estimates only and not a guarantee.
On the day of your scheduled treatment, we will ask patients to pay the estimated portion of their cost that isn’t covered by their insurance plan. We will then personally file your claim and accept the direct pay-out from the insurance company. If your company requires the payment to be sent directly to you, we will ask you for the full amount on the day of treatment. If your insurance does not completely cover the cost of your dental work, you are fully responsible for the remaining portion.
Please keep in mind that any remaining balance you have in your account at Juno Beach Smiles after a period of 60 days will have a 1.5% finance charge added. After 90 days, your balance will be turned over to ICS Systems. If you’re in need of additional financial assistance for covering the cost of your dental treatment, talk to our team about payment plans through CareCredit® or LendingClub!
No Insurance? No Problem!
In addition to insurance claims, our practice also welcomes the use of cash, checks, money orders, and most major debit/credit cards (including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover). Patients who pay with a cash or check will receive a 5% discount on their overall cost. Our practice also offers financing options so that patients are better able to fit the cost of dental care into their monthly budget.
Patients without insurance or who need additional help to afford treatment should definitely take a look at interest-free financing with CareCredit® and LendingClub! Patients can break down 100% of their cost into manageable payments, with no upfront/annual fees or pre-payment penalties. There’s a full range of different options, allowing you to select the plan that best fits your needs – patients can even choose revolving payments with a variable rate of interest. Plus, this financing can be used by every member of your family without any additional applications.
